Why are so few Politicians Scientists?

 Margaret Thatcher the UK Primw Minister was a one off...she was a SCIENTIST.
a rare breed with Politicians, for most Politicians have taken the easy academic route the Humanities
(I put Law in that category) and the Sciences, Physics, Biology,

Embryology et al, has been and is  the educational road less travelled by Politicians.
