As George Orwell argued if you want to supress pickpockets you have to have Police and subsequently Lawyers and Courts.
What we are experiencing at present is the rationalised arguments of the mob who want to defund the Police to create what would be by their standards a deodorised version of society.
What we see here is the totalitarianism of when that comes about by way of our violent actions; then people will think the 'right' thoughts which is implicit in the anarchist and totalitarian vision where
no discussion allowed for the plausibility of a question been viewed from both sides, for the mob or the herd know everything and you know nothing.
