AOC and her leftist cohorts, have the unenviable task of convincing people that despite Capitalism unleashing productive generating
heretofore unimagined wealth. it have brought about the immiseration of workers and the
pauperisation of the proletariat.
The Marxist view is that the expansion of capitalism was an homogenising force, producing a
globalising cultural standard that laid waste to local attachments, traditions
and boundaries, replacing them with bourgeoisie values.
But we are a very long way from the Marxist dream of wishful fantasy or prediction that
capitalism contains inherent contradictions that will inevitably bring about
its demise and supercession by leftist thought
Bernie and AOC et al will not witness that idealisation in their life time
