The invisible presences we are all prey to

Iinvisible presences such as society at large, culture forces in the world around us which shape us,  impinge on us, a power outside ourselves that can coerce us into unwilled actions

should we be aware of the ghostly whispers  of the mind the pursuit of shadows of the invisible presences (not ghosts which are a nonsense)
