The concepts we hold dear are not eternal

What does it mean for a concept to be of our time, or of any time? 

Concepts are not eternal, but does this mean that they are temporal? 

What is the philosophical form of the problems of a particular time?

If one concept is ‘better’ than an earlier one, it is because it makes us aware of new variations and unknown resonances?
