Adorno prompts us to consider then the impossibility of morality without an ‚I‛ and that it has no story of its own
The ‚I‛ endeavors to give an accurate account behind its actions, the reason as to why the ‚I‛ has acted in such a man-ner, and finally attempting to defend or in some way justify a particular deed. It makes sense then to accept Nietzsche’s concept in which moral accountability is ‚…as a conse-quence of fear and terror.‛
