The Obama's and the US media and electorates hagiographic view of them

The US media, waving the chorus baton and electorate being conducted to sing the chorus in a consistently hagiographic ( that treats its subject with undue reverence) hymn  this  continuous uncritical veneration of the Obama's has  become somewhat wearisome, don't your think?
I mean there are many who view Obama as a 'do nothing' President..
