Republican candidates for President like a swarm of summer flies

The line up, like some criminal identity parade;

puffing and panting with faux sincerity, one looks at them as they try to outdo each other to wear the crown that Elysium of glory

But they are not swans they are like infected ducks.

Politicians in the US and witness the shenanigans in the UK Parliament over Brexit  are self important bufoons

As Aristophanes (who lived in Greece 500 years before the birth of Jesus)  has it, 'Under every rock lurks a Politician'.
