The threat of Liberalism of the disappearing individual

Liberalism and humanism believes in the sanctity of individualism, indeed it has cultivated this
notion for its own ends, but with 21st Century science/technology Individualism is shown to be
a quasi religious canard, for we are far from 'free' in fact we are constituted by our DNA, genetic inheritance, biometrics, algorithms, neurons et al, an illiberal  soup of unfreedom.
