The Big Bang is a theory so in a Biblical rewriting it is 'in a beginning' not 'in the beginning'.
Science has no consensus on the
ultimate origin. Some theories espouse a well-defined beginning; others, like
Stephen Hawking’s, do not.
But both suggest a radically new reading of Genesis. If God spoke the world into being, the divine language is energy; the
alphabet, elementary particles; God’s grammar, the laws of nature.
. Some scientists insist that there is no meaning. As one leading physicist has written, “The more we know about the universe, the
more it is evident that it is pointless and meaningless.”
For some that there is no meaning, like the French philosopher Albert Camus, this realisation give his life meaning
