Does 'Big Bang' cosmology confirm traditional religious belief?

Big bang cosmology says that the universe has a finite age, and (traditional) theism says that God created the universe out of nothing. Does big bang cosmology not confirm (prima facie) traditional theism? 

Howeve there are several reasons to be cautious about such claims.
