Some people argue that America is going to become irrelevant. Indeed there are many who think about America only for the danger it brings. Is the US of a kind of Alzheimer’s America, a now aged democracy with the mind set of a child, 12 step programmes and Oprah, or at least it is pretending it is still young in order to throw a child’s tantrums. Has America become an undiapered America, wilfully incontinent. we hear these plangent declarations more and more.
