Society steps in when the State steps back

When the State steps back Society steps in. This is a truth which the ideologues of the European Union (5% of the world's population 50% of the world's benefits) refuse to accept.. This Welfare culture has brought
Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland et all to their knees (aided in large part by irresponsible spiv bankers who enabled property speculation)

Now there is a younger generation the under 30s who are the least likely to agree that "the welfare state is one of Britain’s proudest achievements" and the only age group who have warmed to the Tories since the election.  These under-31s,  are  radicals – in the sense that they are more likely to have Thatcher on the wall than Che Guevara
