Who really speaks, is it you?

‘Who really speaks? Is it really you  and not someone else? When you speak are you the megaphone through which the discourse makes itself felt. With what authenticity or originality do you speak?

And how can you express your deepest self if you are megaphoned by constant discourse?

Here, one resorts to Foucault, who placates one's angst by enquiring of you -

‘What difference does it make who is speaking?’

And then it get a bit more challenging as he 'elucidates'
‘The mark of the writer/speaker is … nothing more than the singularity of his absence.’

You work it out.
