When you disagree with the 'Liberal' viewpoint

The liberal idea of tolerance is more and more a kind of intolerance....   says
Slavoj Žižek

My experience of challenging the Liberal viewpoint is of a faintly facistic name calling and finger pointing - that is if you disagree
with their sanctmonious Liberal views on anything. After all a fundamental aspect of the Liberal view point
is a tacit desire to reside under the mantle of secular sainthood.

'I am a Liberal, I care about others, the poor, the disenfranchised..' but the point is those with an opposing view also care, it is just that they are proposing a different way to go about solving these problems and their ideas are no less humane than yours.
