Women who are caught in the fine mesh of misogynistic metaphor

She was trying  to write a poem about her philandering 'bhoyo' lover, who resembled a rutting goat.

But when she did she caught trapped by the language that was available to her so innocently
she fell into the fine mesh of inherited metaphor, and when she warned against men’s falsehood, she fell back on received imagery:
Beware of fair and painted talk,
beware of flattery tongues,
The Mermaides do pretend no good
for all their pleasant Songs

And that is how misogyny prevails.

For women are still in the 'Chateau Misogyny'.
It is a vast place built in medieval times, with endless corridors and rooms
where there are different voices heard, different sounds, different societies, yet all seeming the same.

There are hundreds of entrances and exits, but when the woman tries each door she finds herself in the same misogynistic room.  Over each door there is a sign such as:
"The flesh is feminine, and set in opposition to soul."

"Allow the spirit, like disembodied angels, to adorn your body like a concealing garment."

"Recall the temptress Eve,..that seductress whose body and speech could persuade a man to eat ... anything. "

There is no exit for the women in 'Chateau Misogyny'.
