Criticising patriarchal metanarratives by the use of, a guess what?...a patriarchal metarrative.

The postmodern critique of western metaphysics proceeds itself under the spell of patriarchal metanarrative, namely that when it claims that ‘....Western metaphysics, since Plato at least,  has been under the spell of the metaphysics of ‘presence’.'  

We see how postmodernism must necessarily employ the very methods that it criticises.
