Unknown unknowns

The cliché du jour in financial markets involves reference to ‘uncharted territory’. It’s things like the GDP figures which are responsible for that. ‘Uncharted territory’.UnWe’re deep in the land of Rumsfeld’s 'unknown unknowns'. John Lanchester asks "Why, incidentally, was he (Donal Rumsfeld) so widely mocked for talking about the difference between known and unknown unknowns?" Hmm...don't really have an answer to that,have to chal kit up as an unknown, or kick the can further down the road as an unknown unknown..
